Update #1: Since the machine is already down, I'm rolling out some updates that should improve network stability in the future. Also, some updates I made earlier today are complicating the recovery a bit.

* Well, they always have been. Maybe they won't be in the future. Ooh, imagine that -- you better attend while they're still free. Then you can tell all your friends that you were one of the Original KSDTers who went to the shows when they were free, and are therefore cooler than them. You want to be cooler than your friends, don't you?

We're squaring away the stream server setup after the hardware failure last quarter, so the stream will likely be down until shows start next quarter (Sunday). I'll post an update when it's back up.

Update: Stream is back up now. As a listener you shouldn't notice anything different, except that the URL has changed slightly. DJs should notice that there is now less latency between you and the stream. I will notice that we've dropped shoutcast in favor of icecast! (w00t w00t) Until I get a more balanced mix of music for Satan from other staff and DJs, it's all Finnish metal. This may dismay some people.

Hey DJs, or anyone who wants to become a DJ!

Pref sheets for next quarter are due by the station meeting at 8pm on the first Thursday of Spring quarter (April 3rd). You can stop by the station and pick them up, or download them here and print them out. (Remember to sign the back; we can't give you a show if you don't!) You can drop them off at the meeting or any time before then.

FOR NEW DJs: The station meeting at 8pm April 3rd is mandatory for new DJs -- we'll talk about the music policy, and train you how to use our equipment. Let us know if you can't make it then, and you can stop by some other time.
